Dr. Chetan Patodia

“I believe in making every visit a comprehensive learning experience.”

Dr. Chetan Patodia attended the Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospitals, where he earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine at Anschutz Medical Campus. After completing his DDS, he undertook a fellowship in the CU Department of Periodontics, focusing on complex implant rehabilitation cases.

His early exposure to periodontics inspired him to earn a Master of Science in Dentistry in Periodontics, also from the University of Colorado. Following this, he achieved board certification through the American Board of Periodontology, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of patient care. Currently, Dr. Patodia serves as a part-time assistant clinical professor at CU Dental, believing strongly in giving back by sharing his knowledge with the next generation of dental professionals.

As a periodontist, Dr. Patodia is passionate about evidence-based practices, emphasizing the importance of maintaining dental, periodontal, and overall oral health. He is dedicated to helping his patients preserve their teeth from gum disease and, when necessary, replacing them with dental implants. He finds immense satisfaction in restoring his patients’ oral health and smiles. To provide comprehensive care, he actively engages with the general dentist community, ensuring he stays informed about the latest practices and developments in dentistry. This collaboration enhances his ability to offer well-rounded treatment options for his patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Patodia truly enjoys travelling with his wife, Punam, and their children, Aria and Aarav. Since their marriage in 2008, they have explored twenty-five states together. He is an avid skier and has explored nineteen national parks, along with hiking sixteen 14ers in Colorado. This love for the outdoors reflects his adventurous spirit and appreciation for nature.
